Sickness

Routines by absence:

  • The first day you must ring Stolt’ office before working time starts (not the customer)
  • Inform about the situation, own sickness, childrens sickness or something else
  • By use of a self-certification of absence (egenmelding), you have to call the Stolt’ office also if you are still sick on day 2 and day 3
  • The first day you are working again, the form self-certification of absence must filled out and signed
  • If you use a sickleave (part C and part D) must be delivered/sent in as soon as possible. The sickleave must be the original (not a copy) and the declaration on part D of the sickleave must filled out and signed
  • When you are long time sick and NAV continues to pay out sickmoney after the first 16 calendar days, you only need to deliver/send in part C. Part D can send directly to your local NAV office

Rights to self-certification of absence:

  • after 2 months working consistent/full-time at Stolt
  • the day/days you are sick, you must be in an assignment. With other words, you should have been working the day/days at Stolt if you hadn’t been sick
  • max. 3 calendar days per self-certification of absence (Friday until(including) Monday = 4 days)
  • max. 4 self-certification of absence within 12 calendar months
  • after 4 times within 12 calendar months, you will loose your rights to use self-certification of absence during 6 months (you can use sickleaves in this period)
  • between 2 self-certifications of absence there must be at least 16 calendar days
  • you can’t use a self-certification of absence within 16 calendar days after a sickleave
  • after an intermission (not working for Stolt) more than 14 days without legal absence, you must gain your rights again

Rights for a sickleave:

  • after 4 weeks working consistent/full-time at Stolt
  • the day/days you are sick, you must be in an assignment. With other words, you should have been working the day/days at Stolt if you hadn’t been sick
  • the first 16 calendar days Stolt will pay out sickmoney
  • after 16 calendar days NAV will pay out sickmoney
  • after an intermission (not working for Stolt) more than 14 days without legal absence, you must gain your rights again
